Diversity Leaders Program
line
ADA is committed to involving members from underrepresented groups in leadership opportunities. To advance this strategy, the Diversity Leaders Program is available to Active members from underrepresented groups.

Four leaders will be selected from the applicants received by the deadline of August 26, 2010. A variety of leadership experiences are part of the program. They include:
  • ADA’s annual conference
  • public policy programs
  • an educational visit to ADA headquarters
  • a mentor to guide and explain the Association’s programs and services and to build supportive professional relationships throughout the year.
At the end of the program, the Diversity Leaders will be asked to volunteer for one year at the district, state, DPG, Member Interest Group or national level.
